Draft and guide the development of policies that will further enable the building of the creative ecosystem in Africa. We understand that the path to a more strengthened African creative economy involves identifying, defining, and committing to task the roles of every stakeholder in the economy; from the creatives across creative disciplines, government and private entities, to the patrons of creative products and services. And formalizing the processes for conducting business as creatives, internal and external patrons’ relationships, etc.

For far too long, the determination of value in the African creative space has been subjective and, more often than not, leaves room for biases based on creatives’ social clout and confidence. We aspire that TCE’s Policy Roundtable will be able to bring all relevant stakeholders together to forge a collective, sustainable future for the African creative in which we speak one voice among ourselves and in dealing with external patrons.
